Since 1962, The Box Tree Restaurant in Ilkley has been a beacon of culinary excellence, shaped by legendary chefs and timeless menus. Having carved out a name for himself in Michelin-starred kitchens, Brayden Davies took the helm as Head Chef in 2024 and has since been shaping the restaurant’s culinary direction with his refined yet modern approach.
 
The Box Tree is undergoing renovations in August and so, for one evening only on Friday 7 August, it will be relocating to Dunesforde Vineyard for an exclusive dinner. Brayden Davies and his team will present a luxurious three-course menu with canapés, each dish thoughtfully paired by Dunesforde Head of Wine, Peter Townsend with their award-winning Dunesforde wines. On the evening, the duo will guide guests through the food and wine pairings, sharing the inspiration behind each course.

Join us for the return of our much-loved Cheese & Wine Evening, hosted in collaboration with Gemma from The Cheeseboard of Harrogate.

Gemma will introduce a handpicked selection of five exceptional cheeses, sharing the stories behind each one, while we pair them with carefully chosen wines from our collection. Along the way, there'll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, compare favourites, and perhaps discover a new pairing you'll love.

Relax, sip, sample, and enjoy an evening celebrating two of life's greatest pleasures— great cheese and great wine.
