Leaf stripping improves airflow and sun exposure around the grape bunches. In this first phase, we remove leaves on the eastern side of the vines below the first canopy wire.
This is a calm, methodical task that makes a big difference to fruit quality. Care is taken to protect the grapes, and full instruction is given.
